CMH Nissan Durban was proud to sponsor the Durban Bowling Club’s Sundowner Trips tournament that took place in the month of November. It is a great privilege to be associated the Durban Bowling Club as they are to us a big part of the community. The tournament took place over four weeks and was played on Friday afternoons. As the sponsors we were there on every day of the tournament with our flags and vehicles and thanks to Margaret we were mentioned at the start of every round. “One Tournament day was “washed out” and the Tournament ended on Friday 2 December 2016. It was a most popular and successful tournament and will be held each year at the same time. Bowlers from several different clubs also participated and due to the fantastic sponsorship received from CMH Nissan Durban the prizes handed out were very well received by all the prize-winners. Durban Bowling Club is indeed very grateful to the sponsor and would love to see all the bowlers support CMH Nissan Durban.” – Margaret van der Lingen (Event Organiser) People have this impression that Bowls is an old man’s sport but after being there and learning a bit about the sport it has become clear that this sport is for any age. The skill that is required makes us even more excited about having our year end function there on the 10th of December. We are also planning future events and sponsorships with the Durban Bowling Club and the wonderful people that are there.
