A letter from The Cows Dear Stuart #GABRAN2015 Excitement brewed as we commenced packing the “most amazing GABRAN Goodie Bag ever” at the local Kraal. We packed and packed and packed… and thought we were done… when “I am dropping off some lastminute dot com” goodies on Tuesday” was heard…… Once again, the Durban Cow Herd were blown away on the generous sponsorship of various goodies for our goodie bags. THE COWS – DURBAN HERD, would like to thank you CMH Nissan Durban, most sincerely for donating to us, an assortment of goodies – lanyards, water bottles and drawstring bags! You have assisted us in not only raising much needed funds for our little superheroes fighting various forms of Cancer but exceeding our fundraising target that we set for ourselves this year! Without your sponsorship, this would never have been achieved! Thanks to various sponsorships our goodie bags and raffles are becoming the talk of the “barnyard” and more and more cyclists are joining us, getting involved and helping us in turn increase the amount we are able to raise. The fun and social atmosphere of the 3 day cycle event, with some camping, “grazing” and even a bit of “GABRAN’s GOT TALENT” … there were those that could sing, and there were those, that well…..provided much needed ab-exercises from laughter, was superb! Our ‘Love Living Life’ slogan is always foremost in our minds, mixed with an overdose of enthusiasm; #GABRAN2015 was mindblowing! Our big reveal happened on the 6th September 2015….through raffles, fudge and coconut ice sales and additional monetary donations we managed to raise R150 000!!!! The event was an absolute hit with “repeat GABRANers” and a host of first-timers, having such a great time the FO-MOOOOO is at a high and so the recruiting of “newbies” for 2016, has begun in earnest. Like all good things, #GABRAN2015 came to an end but the 2016 dates have been cast in stone… 19th to 21st August 2016! And we cannot wait to go bigger!
